So I finally sat down and did it thanks to Crochetville. If all goes wrong search a message board So that is where I found the link to Cute PDF
www.cutepdf.com Is a great site and has a free download to create your documents in to pdf is easy to use and well, well if you know how to use word document a click print your set.

I GOT THE RUTHY PATTERN DONE and wrote all up
I just sent it out to a lady to get tested again sense last time I got it tested I accidentally added like 10 rows in the body lol
So Once it has been tested ( and it works out good) it will be up for sale
NOW how do ppl do the whole pattern thing
I have the PDF file
~ Just emailing it to the person seems odd to do when they buy it or maybe not.. ( i will do it that way I'm on the computer at least once a day)
I know when I bought a pattern awhile ago I got sent a link then went to some site thinger and downloaded it there .. Oh the days of dial up it took me forever to download it.
Man alive I feel like such a bone head sense I don't know any of this stuff.. ( IM LEARNING )
Any way
The Ruthy Pattern is 4 pages and has lil photos through out. I think its worded well I guess my tester will tell me if I'm wrong..
Well just thought i would update quick
I'm also thinking of changing the name of my blog
from not so perfect housewife to Gloomy Gurumi's
What do you guy's think?
Do you think that would be a good idea?
Of cource the link won't change

WOOHOO congrats...amazing what you can research with high speed internet eh? Glad you managed to get the PDF thingy figured out, I knew you would since you're one smart cookie!
As far as renaming your blog, hmmmm that's one to think on. Can you make a patterns/crochet only blog with a different name and then have this blog for your "home" stuff? Or perhaps you don't want two separate blogs??? That could be a pain in the butt and I don't know about you but it amazes me when I see people with 2 or 3 different blogs keeping them all up to date all the time. Honestly, I think you should go with your gut on this one I love the name and either way.....you know I'll follow you no matter what!
i think you should do whatever you feel. :] however, it IS true that your stuff online is under craftymummy2two, so people may find you easier if you leave it. either way, let me know when you get the etsy shop up -- i'll put your button on my blog! :]
I love your style and this line is great hope the shop works good for you but I have a question for you.Iam with cancer awareness for the Uninsured and we do product reviews and give aways to help small business like your to grow I would like to know it this is something you would like to do, we are also having a auction in June for the relay for life and wanted to know if this also would be something you like to donate to .think about it and let me know I follow you ,and I will blog and tweet about this also thanks so much for your time. you need a contact button
Congrats on getting your first pattern going Not sure on the selling, maybe check out crochetville under publishing or selling. I think there are ideas there. And check out other's blogs to see what they do. I've saw some that sell items on their blogs. Most have a separate blog for that, and that might be an idea like Orion'sMom suggested.
Wow, congratulations! You have come a long way in such a short time...amazing!
For what it is worth here is my advice:
When I have bought patterns online I have always been sent the pdf through email, which worked really well for me. I have bought patterns that way from etsy. The only way I would download my own pattern is through Ravelry since I absolutely trust that site plus you can store a second copy in the Ravelry library.
My advice as a buyer of patterns is to develop your own style since there are a lot of people selling patterns and you want to stand out and offer a unique product.
Also make sure your pattern is really clearly written. I bought a pattern where the product was amazingly cute but I struggled with the pattern. When I posted my pics of it, tons of people asked me for the pattern info which I gladly gave but I have hardly seen anyone make it. My guess is that they had trouble finishing it because of the badly written pattern.
And last but not least...customer service. This includes being fast at sending the pattern out... to helping customers with problems even after they have given you their money (trust me, people will tell each other if they didn't have a good experience with a seller).
I hope this helps you a bit...I really wish you all the success in your new adventure...hugs
