Not much getting finished here

Well I haven't worked on my Afghan at all :( and I have not finished a single project. I ended up getting the flu bug and was laid up for a couple days, so sick all I could do is just sleep and whine lol
I now have Three projects on the go, including the Afghan! I also have so many things I want to do and have to do lol. BUT I better finish all these things before I start another or i will be getting myself over whelmed.
Looking at the calender I don't think i will be able to accomplish my own Challenge of finishing my Afghan by the end of April :( so I will have to give myself a new date and It shall be ........
I will have to look at the calender more. Next month is going to be alil busy. Both my kids are in soccor and mys ister is graduating next month:)

So lets start with the Gloomy Sense she will Probley be finished sooner than the rest.

She is not named yet !
She is the first ever Bright Gloomy lol Her Eyelids are magenta not black, She also is wearing a slouchy raggy looking hat :) I have one leg done so I just need to make another leg and dress her. OOoooo and name her. I bought some really cute fabric to out fit this girl with and am excited for her to be finished the yellow and the pink I used in this doll is a different yarn than i usually use and its 1/2 Wool and 1/2 Acrylic, it has a fuzzier texture to it and the stuff i used for her hat and scarf is really unusual I bought it at a yarn store and need to search for the wrapper so I can tell ya all exactly what it is called I will say though it is terrible hard to work with i had to us a K hook.

I will add more details on this gal once I have her finished!!

So lately I have been trying to get my crochet skills up there Learning newer techniques stitches etc, SOoo I found some sock yarn in Zellers and decided I shall try to build a Sock .. YEs you read that right A sock. I would say a pair but once I finish this one sock I will maybe make another by next year lmao

So theres my Sock I'm using Pink Camo its turning out pretty cool but boy oh boy is it taking awhile.
The sock Pattern is called ribbon`s and Bows I'm thinking I picked a two complicated pattern for my first try at socks but I really wanted to learn how to do the cable cross stitch

NOw woooo hoo I acomplished something today I updated my blog ppls on my self.

So hopefully next time I will have some finished items to show you all. Im still feeling under the weather so I have been taking it easy .

So I'm a lil slow but awile ago I found out about Ravlery and So Of course Sent out for my invite...

NO high speed

Well The guy came out today and was here all day we got the Internet going once and then notta then some thing, then notta so here I sit on dial up I guess I sung the good bye dial up song to soon. The high speed tower is still up so I will be calling Monday to tell them somethings up.. It just finally decided it was going to try and connect nut then WHAM BAM thank you MAM its gone lmao

So Dial up for me for the weekend hopefully some one will get out her early in the week to fixer up..

So I'm just going to cross my fingers MAYBE it will work its self out by Monday.. I Can only hope right.. I do have a new crochet critter and will post maybe tomorrow if i get a chance. My Mommy is coming out to visit so I may not have much computer time tomorrow.. Getting excitted for her visit. JUST hope the weathers good sence it seems any time I get excitted about something, something goes wrong. Sorta like this whole highspeed thing lmao

So I ran across this pattern here for the Zoe Lily-Belle doll created by Amigurumi Girl. I thought well my Daughter Kiera's Middle Name is Lily-Marie I just had to make it for her. Its going to be part of her b-day present this year. I sorta half followed the pattern lmao ( Im getting bad at not following the whole thing lol She sorta has thunder thighs from not following right through lmao .. ) But I'm sure my daughter will love her.. Ok I know she will she has seen her but I

told her it was for my lil sister.. She will be surprised to get her.

Next time I make this lil gal if I do.. ( not sure if I want to do the whole hair thing again its time consuming lol) I will be making the hands a bit smaller and actually try not to get the thunder thigh look... I may have to make one though for my lil sisters b-day.. BUT her birthday isn't till June So I have awhile.

I still have to get another bunny made and Shhh I want to make another half hatched chick and right the pattern down lol may become one of my first free Crochet Pattern. Another Secret I have sent out the Ruthy Pattern to a lady to test.. and I just might let that pattern out for free I'M thinking about it.. SO if you are interested TELL ME lmao

But I have to start cleaning my computer room.. THE ppls to hook up my high speed are coming tomorrow .. WOOOHOOOOO so NO MORE DIAL UP FOR ME.. ( hope they get here depends on the weather so I'm just hopping for a nice calm day tomorrow and no wind :) ) I guess I Will wait and see..

Crocheting cutting sniipping

Well yesterday I got my hair cut off :( I will try to get a pic of my new hair do I'M not completely thrilled but maybe once i wash it and try to style it myself I will like it more.

Kiera got her hair cut last Friday and happy to say the hair dresser did not buzz it off she just trimmed around and made it short but not buzzed will also get a pic of that lmao..

So I'm busy working on a special dolly for Kiera for her birthday.. She will be a big 3 yr's old On April 4th... Exciting my baby is growing up.. I haven't took a photo of that yet either ..

So im almost done these doll lol just needed to make the arms.. ARG i hate Arms lol they should make a machine that will crochet the items you don't like to make hahahaha

a hint!!!!

so OK I have just began making Amigurumi, I love it and I guess i have caught on really fast. I am a fast learner ( when I want to be lol)

So just looking back two when I first started I can't believe the difference In just a lil time.. I actually am impressing myself lol..

I love crocheting... It does take along time and my figures do hurt after BUT the finished project is the masterpiece.. Look at any crocheted piece and tell me does it look like CRAP no it doesn't there is a lot of hard work that goes in to crocheting and it is time consuming... I sit here and search at night time when I get a chance and just look at others blogs that crochet and I'm just amazed at the work they have done.. I'M pretty sure I wouldn't think this before I Started but knowing the hard work that gets put into these projects no matter how bigger or small it really shows when it is done.. I have yet to try to make a blanket and I'm sure one day I will. I do have some Beautiful crocheted blankets that my grandma made me and knowing the hard work she put in them really makes me love them even more. She made me a blanket back when I was around 12 or 13 and I still have it. I will have to get it out and share a photo of the great work she put in to it. IT is beautiful and still alive :) SO grams if you are reading this I Still have that first BLANKET you made me!!!!

SO I have been busy learning this crochet stuff I have decided to try something new out I have made something all up by myself she will be joining the monster family.. I can't get a good pic of her tonight sense i rather take photos of my critters/Creations with the natural sunlight so I have a lil thing for a hint... ( pic will be added tomorrow)

I also Wrote down the pattern for this hint and will have to test it out again but I will ask again tomorrow I would like to know if anyone would be wanting to test my pattern out???

Merry Christmas Happy New year and WOW 2009

I havent hardly got a chance to get time to update let alone craft.. We had Christmas, New years then MY sons 5 birthday.. the big 5 wow I can't believe my son is 5. BUT I just thought I would jump ON im at my grams house for the day. Sheldon's go ski-dooing in what i don't/didn't agree on sence there has been so many accidents latel but whatever it gave me my truck for the day and thankfully his truck will be back tomorrow. His truck broke down over the holiday the whole motor went so finally it is done and we can have two vehicles again ..

HAHA Well I'm actually getting in to this whole christmas feel finally. I am Pleased to announce I AM DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.. "i hope" Me and sheldon went in to town yesterday and finished it all up The kids got spoiled yet again and Im pretty sure all is counted for lol .. I also Got some new machine needles. THe other day Trying to sew something nice MY lovely New but Old machine decided to well let its timing go and well right in between sewwing the machine crams up and WELL my last needle lost its last life. It was heart breaking lmao Heart breaking because i never had another that one I broke was stole from my lil kenmore ( my back up machine) So yesterday I got some new needles some new batteries abd the rest of the Xmas shopping done. SO I will be taking photos of some of the new stuff I have made in the past week and posting it here tomorrow I HOPE.. ITs been busy and I really can't promice anything lol.. BUT I hope to get it all up tomorrow.

Right now sheldon is Working on some log reindeer that we have been wanting to make. I was planning on doing them myself for gifts but he kinda took over and well I will just leave him to it lol. I will talk more about these when I get photos.. THey are cute though..

Busy Weekend.

No crafting but lots of new idea's. On saturday the kids my mom and me all went to the big christmas craft show in Spirit River There was so much nice stuff. Of course I over spent and was wishing i had more to spend on all the amazing crafts and items ppl have made. But well I was there I have desided i would like to start up an old craft I use to do all the time and that is wood work. Me and mom use to do it all the time LIke the lil signs, snow men, santa clauses etc... Well I think I just may try to pick that up again in will take awile like having to colect paint etc.. ( all my paints have dryed up over the years ) Maybe some day maybe this winter maybe the next but I owuld like to start again.

So any way Today is me and sheldon 6 year Anniversary Exciting but he is working and we probley ain't going to do anything for it sence well no babysitter and well no point till he gets days off. :( We usually are gon this time of year. LEave the kids some where and go to edmonton for a week but things this year are just kinda tight and stress full and busy so we arn't going to be going this year. Oh well ..

But I should go ttyl I need to tidy up my messy place and , maybe think of some new stuff to build up

SO what have I been up to lets s ee.. WE moved Back in September to a new place or shall I say Better place. We really like it. ITs s till way out in the middle Of know where but hey atleast are water aint going to freeze in this house. I have done lil sewwing in whati hate WIsh i had more time. Probley sence my last posts I have sewwin one baby blanket for a friend and some Doggy coats for my Pup Kahlua. I got her for mommies day this year she is a red Sable Pom.

My kids have been keeping me really busy and active. I have been doing alot of baking sence we moved sence now I do have an oven that actually works. I have turned in to a pretty good housewife lmao. Im not completly a SAHM any more i do sell Partylite still but have been slow with shows lately just havent been pushy enough. ( If your sorta shy being a home consultant aint for you)

But Its durring the day here 1:00 now and I have to run my kids are upstairs probley distroying the place i Will right again soon

Today.

Well not much here today went to town and went hunting in the bargin fabric bin in Walmart lol Came out with a couple cute prints but no luck on finding any m ore of the cotton I made the dolls out of :( I will cheack fabric land next time i go in with out hubby lol.
But Guess what I recieved in the mail my package from Toque . Its adorable it is one of her stuffiepups and she made me a beutifull jean bag lol I allready put all my stuff in it hehehe.. I will take photos of it t omorrow and share. But I have to run I got finish putting away everything from town .

Lucy And Louey

Well Lately for some reason I have been making elephants I think they are just too adorable.. It started making Lily, Then some little Felt mascot Elephants. I want to make more elephants, so I came up with these cuties.

The loopyness and shyness took the best of them both.

But from that day on they stuck together

But any way I was suppose to go to town today I did plan on it I'm out of stuffing So anything i make from know till i get stuffing wont be stuffed:( I actually may have enough for little mascots.. Or a medium plushie. But that's it.. I haven't made anything yet today I'm actually lazy today maybe because I was up most of last night with Kiera.. Poor girl is teething and isn't doing well with it. She is sleeping right now and Ethan is watching Inspector Gadget * the ol' Cartoon* lol I'm waiting for him to come here and ask me to change the Chanel.

So any way .. Yesterday We never did a lot, It was finally warmer out.. NORTHERN Alberta Warm but still cold great wont complain finally a day to take the kids out. We haven't took them out in like hmm a month lol its been to cold or snowing, and guess what it is snowing again today. I want . I also cleaned the house fully yesterday but you can't tell today but I cleaned lmao..

OH my Oh my look what I have made..

Well its been a busy couple days.. I just sat down here.. TODAY IS cleaning day I promised myself OK I'm making myself clean today.. SO got the upstairs bathroom cleaned and now taking a break man alive i never thought it was that yukky....

So did any one catch Greys last night.. OMG I was bawling so much Especially when Meridith's mom told her she is nothing but ordinary and oooo my and at the end when Denny and Issy pass in the hall I cried yet again t was sooo sad.. Sheldon just laughed at me but hey he owes me a hundred bucks sense Grey didn't die hahaha.

Well I found a pair of batteries so i could take pics of the rest of the stuff i mentioned in my last post.

I think it turned out great I made up the pattern all myself hehehe The idea just popped in to my head. When I told Sheldon about it he laughed but he was surprised on how good it turned out. All the numbers are embroidered on.. It is made out of all felt.. and stuffed with polyester stuffing .

Today.. What to do

Holly Greys Anatomy now that was an intense episode surely they can't kill Grey off.. Hubby Is sure they are then the show is done lol HE doesn't really like to watch it. but any who.. Today I need to clean, I mean clean. I did clean up the the kitchen yesterday but with two kiddos well OK three kiddos that's including hubby there is no keeping it clean for more than an hour.

OMG i'm a blogger !!!!

Well lets see how long I can do this. I have been reading so many ppl's blogs lately I just thought hmmm, I should try this myself so here I am a new blogger, Oh my.. Been fooling around with the settings on here and not sure if I really like It are not. Well today I made a couple little things not much made a little table cloth thinger for are down stairs coffee table and made a little surprise for one of my friends that are havin a tough time. Kiera never had a nap today till around 5pm so I never really got a break at all and Ethan kept me pretty much on my toes today. YAWN Think I may get off the computer and sit and relax gotta get kiddos to bed before Grey's Anatomy starts. Can't miss that hehehehe..
